In a significant move to support underprivileged students in remote areas, school bags and winter clothing were distributed among selected primary and secondary school students under the "Shikhya Surokkha" project. The distribution ceremony took place at the Conference room of Perachhara High School, reaching students from Bholanath Para Government Primary School, Larma Para Government Primary School, Paltonjoy Para Government Primary School, and Perachhara High School within the Khagrachhari Sadar Union.

The initiative is part of the "Shikhya Surokkha" project, a collaborative effort implemented by Zabarang Kalyan Samity and the Campaign for Popular Education (CAMPE). This 21-month project is made possible through the financial support of Standard Chartered Bank and is specifically designed to provide essential services to seven secondary schools and fourteen primary schools located throughout the Bhaibonchhara and Perachhara unions of Khagrachhari Sadar Upazila.

The event was presided over by Bimbisar Khisa, the Headmaster of Perachhara High School, and featured Faria Sultana, the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Khagrachhari Sadar, as the Chief Guest. The ceremony was also attended by several prominent officials and community leaders, including Upazila Primary Education Officer Shuvashish Barua, District Education Office Assistant Inspector Robiul Islam, and Perachhara Union Parishad Chairman Tapan Bikash Tripura. Representing the organizing partners were the Senior Manager of Strategic Development and Resource Mobilization from CAMPE Mohammad Abdul Quddus (Prince), as well as Mathura Bikash Tripura, the Executive Director of Zabarang Kalyan Samity.

During the proceedings, the speakers emphasized that such initiatives are essential for accelerating the education of children living in remote, disadvantaged villages. They noted that when the government and private sectors work shoulder to shoulder, they can successfully nurture a talented generation capable of leading the country in the future. The speakers concluded by expressing their deep gratitude to Standard Chartered Bank, CAMPE, and Zabarang Kalyan Samity for their dedication to supporting these students and ensuring they have the tools necessary to succeed.
