About This Project
Out of School Children Education Program is a partnership program with Bureau of Non-formal Education & Ministry of Primary and Mass Education. Zabarang is implementing the Out of School Children Education Program under sub-component 2.5 of the Fourth Primary Education Development Program (PEDP-4) in Dighinala Upazila as a sub-partner of Progressive NGO. Progressive is the Implementation Support Agency (ISA) in Khagrachhari Hill District. The project has created the opportunity for the out-of-school children (dropout and non-enrolment within the age of 8- 14 years) for second time education.
Project area: All Unions in Dighinala Upazila under Khagrachhari hill district.
Donor: PEDP 4, Bureau of Non-Formal Education (BNFE), Ministry of Primary and Mass Education (MoPME)
Project Objectives
Objective: To provide second chance primary education through a flexible non-formal education system to 1662 out of school children from 67 learning centers of 8-14 years age group and mainstream them to the formal schooling.
